 Description:

Level IV is an armor composite of ceramic and fiber glass weighing 8 lbs. As per NIJ .06 standard, it is tested to stop (1) shot of 30-06 M2AP. This application is made to give you the ability to completely stop an Armor Piercing round while managing trauma. This is a complete standalone plate that requires no soft armor behind it. The goal of this plate was to be as cost efficient as possible but still giving you the capability of stopping an AP round. We always try to prioritize comfort and that’s why we have this configuration in a multi-curve system to help conform to your torso. This armor solution will also stop your other rifle threats like 5.56 M193/M855, 7.62×51(M80), and 7.62×39.

Will it stop other rounds other than the 30-06 M2AP?

Yes! This plate was designed to stop the 7.62×39 (122 gr) MSC, 5.56 in the M193/M855 variations, and also the 7.62×51(M80). This can also stop all of your handgun threats.

Is it Multi-hit?

Yes. It can take more than 1 hit from the 30-06 M2AP.
